FAST Fiberglass Mould Graveyard

Hey friends—whether you’ve been following me for a while or just stumbled across my page, welcome! I hope you’re doing well in this crazy world.

Let’s start with a question:
What’s the weirdest attraction you’ve ever gone out of your way to visit? 👀

Today I want to share one of the coolest hidden gems I’ve come across—the FAST Fiberglass Mold Graveyard near Sparta, Wisconsin.

We actually stumbled across this place while looking for something to kick off our Sunday morning after a festival. I never imagined this is what fiberglass molds actually looked like! It was fascinating to wander through row after row of massive molds in every shape and size, imagining all the roadside attractions, giant statues, and even water park slides they once helped create.

There’s something oddly beautiful about seeing these molds sitting quietly after they’ve served their purpose. Some are here because they’re outdated, while others have cracked or were no longer usable. Instead of being forgotten, they’ve become a unique piece of art and history that’s completely free to explore.

If you’re visiting, you can also purchase a catalog for just $5, which shows photos of many of the molds as the finished attractions they were originally used to create. It makes walking through the graveyard even more interesting!
